Instant Pot Apple Sauce | Whole30/Paleo Compliant

 5 lbs Apples, cored & quartered (peeled if preferred)
 ½ Lemon, just the juice
 ¼ Lemon, just the zest
 4 Cinnamon Sticks
 ¼ tsp Nutmeg
  cup water
 of Salt

Throw it all into the instant pot and cook at high pressure on manual for 4 minutes. Allow the pot to depressurize on its own for 10 minutes, then you may manually relieve it.


Remove Cinnamon Sticks.


Utilize an immersion (hand) blender to get the applesauce to your preferred consistency. You may hand mash the apples for a chunky sauce.


Serve warm & place the leftovers in the fridge for later use. With the lemon, the applesauce will keep for a week.
